FCC to push for Comcast sanctions over throttling

FCC chairman expected to back XM + Sirius merger

Though not yet officially announced, reports have surfaced that FCC Chairman Martin supports the merger of XM and Sirius satellite radio companies, and will recommend that the Commission vote to push the transaction through.

Comcast invests in P2P streaming startup

Sony has confirmed that it is planning to “integrate YouTube functionality in upcoming or existing PlayStation 3 games” and that developers are currently working on such integration.
The new integration will enable gamers to stream capture and upload footage they have recorded while playing games.

Verizon didn’t violate customer privacy, panel rules

Federal regulators have determined that Verizon Communications Inc. did not violate consumer privacy laws when it tried to keep customers who wanted to cancel Verizon and switch to cable providers for voice services.
